Trump has less than a ‘scaramucci’ left in office, notes Anthony Scaramucci

What could rattle markets in 2021, even as vaccines are rolling out

Anthony Scaramucci, who saw his brief tenure in the Trump White House mocked as a new measure of the passage of time, observed Saturday that President Donald Trump’s tenure had but a single “scaramucci” left:

The former hedge-fund manager, who has broken with Trump in the years since — for example, observing last fall that Trump had unified the country … against him — was White House communication director for just 10 days in 2017. His ouster came on the day that John Kelly, who also has since emerged as a Trump critic, replaced Reince Priebus to become Trump’s second chief of staff and in the wake of an alarming exchange with then–New Yorker writer Ryan Lizza about Trump strategist Steve Bannon.
